What if you could have the best of both worlds?

Sitting perfectly between the big and small Psyop, the new stout Psyop hits that sweet middle ground at 2.99". Designed in close collaboration with Geoff Blauvelt of Tuff Knives, we fine-tuned every detail together — from the clean, modern lines to the retro vibe, right down to the asymmetrical bolster and micarta handle.

A Better Ratio, A Longer Cut

At 2.99", the US-made Crucible S35VN blade delivers top-notch edge retention and corrosion resistance. Listening to fan feedback, we refined the blade-to-handle ratio by minimizing the blade choil — giving you a longer, uninterrupted cutting edge for better slicing performance.

Some prefer a larger choil for a secure forward grip and more control — that's why this version doesn't replace the big Psyop, but simply adds another option for those who want maximum cutting length.

Dedicated to the Hand, Open to Customization

Purposefully designed to merge vintage character with modern minimalism, the handle is built from US-made Norplex UltreX™ Micarta scales and paired with asymmetrical titanium or brass  bolsters.

An asymmetrical bolster design adds distinctive personality and visual balance to the form. Titanium bolster can be anodized, and brass can be laser-etched for a more personal touch—your knife, your canvas.

For comfort and control, every corner is well-chamfered, and the full liner construction delivers a solid, confident feel in hand.

Engineered for Perfect Feel

We know you love the Top Liner Lock, so our engineering team went deep to fine-tune the bar's length, width, height, and travel. The result? A lock that's dialed in just right for this size—secure, intuitive, and satisfying every time you flip it open. The thumb stud keeps deployment quick and familiar.

Grip & Utility

To improve grip and control during opening and use, we added jimping to the front of the handle and the spine of the blade—a subtle but meaningful upgrade for secure handling.

Details Matter

• Full T8 hardware throughout—including the thumb stud—for easy maintenance and added durability.

• Titanium-coated screws on the handle enhance durability and add a premium, refined finish.

• Reversible deep-carry wire clip offers discreet pocket carry for both left- and right-handed users.

• A recessed button sits flush with the handle, delivering a clean profile and intuitive operation.

• A slightly enlarged lanyard hole for easier threading and improved functionality—a small tweak with big impact.

More Than a New Knife — It's Your Choice

The Psyop 299 isn't here to replace—it's here to expand the vision. For those who wanted more cutting edge, easier customization, and a slightly bolder stance, this is the answer. Still Psyop at its core, but made for those who like things a little tighter, tougher, and more personal.
