About Drop Beacon

Drop Beacon is an EDC product intelligence platform built by collectors, for collectors. We track every drop, every restock, and every price change across 1,115 brands in real time — so you never miss the gear you're after.

The idea started simple: I kept missing drops. By the time I saw a new Magnus slider or a Grimsmo Norseman go live, it was already sold out. Refreshing ten different websites and hoping to catch a restock felt like a full-time job. So I built something to do it for me.

What started as a personal tool grew into something bigger. Drop Beacon now monitors 86,202 products across knives, fidgets, flashlights, pens, wallets, multi-tools, and more. We scan stores every hour, detect new drops within minutes, and send notifications before the sellout.

Beyond Drop Tracking

Knowing when something drops is only half the picture. We also track the secondary market — 17,637 resale listings across Reddit BST communities, Facebook groups, and reseller stores. This means you can see not just what a product costs retail, but what it's actually worth: average resale price, whether it trades at a premium or discount, and how liquid the market is.

We analyze community sentiment from Reddit discussions, identifying which brands are generating hype, which products have quality issues, and what the community is asking for next. It's market intelligence that used to require hours of browsing — delivered in a dashboard.
