The Boker Plus V-42 is a military dagger with a remarkable story. In July of 1942 the Devil's brigade was founded. A military unit comprised of American and Canadian soldiers, specifically trained to fight behind enemy lines. This unit is known for the many night missions during which they painted their faces black. For this reason the German troops called them 'Black Devils'. This was out of mutual respect for this dangerous special unit.
