Vaer x Topo Designs x Worn & Wound Solar Hiker V2

The Solar Hiker returns for 2026 with two new colorways, updated straps, and a new custom carrying case. A triple-brand collaboration between Vaer, Topo Designs, and Worn & Wound, the Solar Hiker brings together expertise in watchmaking, outdoor goods design, and storytelling. Built for adventure, it combines the legibility of a classic field watch with the durability of a dive watch, all powered by the sun. Limited to 1,200 pieces.

Measuring 39mm wide, 46mm lug-to-lug, and 12.3mm thick, the Solar Hiker features a 200-meter water-resistant case designed for everyday wear and outdoor adventures alike. The dial features bold, raised numerals printed with 15 layers of Super-LumiNova for exceptional legibility day or night. A dual-index ceramic and steel bezel adds practical versatility, allowing users to track a second time zone or elapsed minutes, with subtle solar cues marking sunrise and sunset positions.

For 2026, the Solar Hiker introduces two fresh color combinations, complemented by new straps designed in collaboration with Topo Designs. Each watch also comes with a redesigned Topo carrying case, bringing the brand's colorful, functional approach to outdoor gear into a compact package that's ready for whatever the day brings.

The Solar Hiker is powered by the Epson VS22 solar movement, which charges through exposure to light. Accurate to ±20 seconds per month, it can run for up to six months in complete darkness when fully charged.
