The PDW Technical Picnic Blanket (T.P.B.) is a best made, versatile and modern wool lined technical ground sheet, insulated tarp, backcountry throw, and yes, it's pretty handy for those spontaneous wilderness picnics too. The lightweight yet durable nylon ripstop ground liner is impregnated with silicone to repel water and also coated with PU for extra protection against the elements. The T.P.B. is inspired by the classic "cowboy bedroll," but our design is updated with modern, lighter, technical materials. The generous 54" x 84" foot print amazingly rolls up into a small 6.5" x 11" stuff sack to easily stash in your pack. This is an American made technical wilderness blanket that is equally capable from recreational to survival applications.

Whether setting up your perfect campsite lounge area, an emergency blanket, shelter from the snow or rain, a weatherproof throw, and as a picnic blanket, the PDW T.P.B. is a best quality performance wilderness product. Made with the finest performance materials, the wool side is sourced from a US supplier that has been in operation since 1922, the silnylon is PU coated and custom milled for PDW, features 6 staking points, and comes with its own stuff sack. The T.P.B. will last you season after season and you will be able to use it year round. Keep one in your overland rig, bring it with you hiking and backpacking, use it at your base camp, line your tent floor when snow camping, lay back on it to watch meteor showers to summer time fireworks, and of course when you're channeling your best Edward Manet's Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe.
