The Spyderco C223PBBK Para® 3 Lightweight CTS® BD1N is a compact and highly refined everyday carry folding knife that combines the proven performance of the Para Military® 2 platform with an ultra-lightweight construction. At its core is a full-flat-ground CTS® BD1N stainless steel blade, a nitrogen-enriched high-carbon chromium steel known for its balanced combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. The blade’s efficient geometry provides excellent slicing capability, while the Trademark Round Hole™ enables fast, fully ambidextrous one-handed opening.

The handle is built from injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) in a linerless, open-backed construction that significantly reduces weight while maintaining structural integrity.
