Shim Shy

Product Description – Shim Shy

Materials & Aesthetics

The Shim Shy Floating Slider is precision-crafted from aerospace-grade 7075 aluminum, CNC-machined from a single block to strike the perfect balance between a slim profile and a solid feel. It’s finished with a nano iridescent coating through a 12-step anodizing process, ensuring exceptional scratch resistance, durability, and long-lasting color. Available in three stunning finishes—Silver with a diamond-like shimmer, Gunmetal with a dark flowing glow, and Deep Green with a vintage-inspired tone—each color becomes even more vibrant as light dances across the surface.

Mechanism & Feel

Breaking free from traditional travel limits, the Shim Shy features an infinite, unrestricted sliding mechanism. A gentle push sets the slider into a seamless loop: forward slides provide smooth, evenly distributed resistance, while reverse motion flows effortlessly with zero snags or interruptions. Each slide is met with a crisp, rhythmic metal feedback, perfectly balanced to offer both stress relief and satisfying tactile enjoyment. The motion captures the lively “Shim” and the continuous flow of “Shy” in every movement.

Size & Everyday Use

Compact and perfectly sized at 46 × 28 × 13.5 mm, the Shim Shy is designed for true everyday carry. The ergonomic curves and rounded edges fit naturally in the palm, ensuring comfort even during extended sessions. Slip it easily into your jeans pocket or EDC pouch, making it the ideal companion for commutes, work breaks, or downtime outdoors. Whether you’re at home, at work, or on the go, the Shim Shy is always ready to turn idle moments into calming, tactile enjoyment.
