Rike/Forever Steel - Alkaid CF Damascus

The Forever Steel Alkaid CF Damascus (The ORIGINAL Transforming Knife) combines the compact proportions and distinctive multi-link mechanism of the original Alkaid with a refined combination of Damascus steel, titanium, and carbon fiber. Designed as both a functional EDC and a collector-oriented piece, the Alkaid CF brings together mechanical complexity and a distinctive material palette.

The VG10 Damascus blade features a flowing layered pattern, giving each knife its own visual character. The organic Damascus pattern contrasts with the clean, mechanical lines of the Alkaid platform, creating a balance between traditional Damascus craftsmanship and modern industrial design.

The compact handle combines titanium and carbon fiber to provide a solid, substantial feel while maintaining the Alkaid's original proportions. Hardware is available in Gold, Grey, or Black, allowing the metallic accents to complement the overall finish of each configuration.

At the center of the Alkaid's design is its signature multi-link deployment system. The distinctive mechanism gives the knife its unique character and separates it from conventional folding knife designs. Its compact 6.53" overall length makes it well suited to everyday carry while retaining the dense, solid feel associated with the Alkaid platform.

With its VG10 Damascus blade, titanium and carbon fiber construction, three hardware finish options, and signature multi-link mechanism, the Alkaid CF Damascus combines mechanical design with a refined collector-oriented finish.

Don't be fooled by the hype or the smokescreen marketing. The Alkaid is the original transforming knife, not an imitation of the concept. Its signature multi-link mechanism and transforming design have defined the platform from the beginning.
