Go ahead, make mistakes

We made some pencils in 2018 and discontinued them in 2020 because we felt like they needed an update. Our new version comes with a slimmer body, bolt on the side to advance and retract the lead, and friction fit erasers which fit in the back. The all-metal construction provides an heirloom-quality pencil that you'll be able to pass down to future generations. In other words, these ain't your typical BICs.

It all starts with the material

And there are four options to choose from: titanium, copper, bronze, and zirconium. We picked those four because they're popular, fun to machine, and can withstand a lifetime of use.

Titanium      0.9oz

Tough, lightweight, extremely corrosion resistant, and the best-selling material we work with. If this is your first Tactile Turn pen, we recommend starting with titanium.

Copper     0.9oz

Naturally antimicrobial and, because we don't coat any of our pens, copper will patina and darken with time and use. Like many of our customers, we love a good patina.

Bronze     0.9oz

Alloy consisting mostly of copper, tin, and other metals like aluminum, manganese, nickel, or zinc. It machines beautifully and looks great when it has some patina.

Zirconium     0.9oz

Directly underneath titanium on the Periodic Table and shares properties like corrosion resistance, strength, and density. Zirconium is rare and hard to work with but has a beautiful dark grey color.
