Hashbrown Christmas Keychain | NCFC Fundraiser

Hashbrown is a real cow, and this Christmas she's helping feed Nelson.

In 2021 her owner Liz, a longtime Popov customer, asked us for help with a collar strong enough to carry Hashbrown's antique cow bell. Our team loved her so much that she became our Christmas cow. This year she's back on a limited-edition keychain, made for this fundraiser only.

Where your money goes: every dollar you pay for this keychain goes to the Nelson Community Food Centre, and Popov Leather matches it, dollar for dollar. Each keychain, doubled by our match, covers about 7 community meals, based on NCFC's average cost of $3.50 CAD a meal. Our goal is 300 keychains before Christmas.

The Nelson Community Food Centre is one of eighteen Community Food Centres across Canada. Every week, around 120 people share a Community Meal. Twice a month, the Good Food Bank serves about 145 households, and food boxes are delivered to neighbours who can't easily leave home.
