The Maraí 401 is Nomadic's flagship dive watch, named for the Irish word for "sea farer" and numbered for the 401st ship built in Belfast's Harland & Wolff shipyard — RMS Titanic. The 2026 edition is a ground-up refinement of the original: a new 12 o'clock marker in Nomadic's own font anchors the dial, the same design language carries through to the bezel, and the case profile has been sharpened into a sleeker silhouette. It's now available across seven finishes, from a stealth DLC-coated Blackout to a Classic Black & Gold.
Each 40mm Maraí 401 is built from 316L stainless steel — DLC-coated on the Blackout finish — with a matching stainless steel bracelet, and finished with an entirely new handset individually polished across five facets to catch the light from every angle. A unidirectional timing bezel is built as a genuine tool, with clear markings and enough grip to turn with cold, wet hands, and a permanent 6 o'clock date window — new across the whole Maraí range — improves dial symmetry. Turn the watch over and a sapphire caseback reveals a custom rotor shaped after the propellers of SS Nomadic and RMS Titanic, a working piece of Belfast engineering history that winds the watch as you move.
Power comes from the newly released Sellita SW200-2, a Swiss-made automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with 26 jewels, hacking seconds, hand-winding, and a quickset date. On a full wind it holds 65 hours of power reserve, keeping time whether you're at a desk or waist-deep in cold Atlantic water. Each watch is individually assembled, regulated, and tested by one of Nomadic's watchmakers before it ships, backed by a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects.
