Les George ESV Flipper with Patriotic Titanium Frame

The Les George ESV Flipper stands out because of its American-themed titanium handle. The stars, distressed stripes, and weathered finish create a patriotic look that pairs well with Les George’s military-informed design philosophy. The titanium frame keeps the knife strong and durable, while the matching titanium pocket clip supports tip-up carry.

The tumble-finished S45VN blade gives this compact folder a premium modern stainless steel foundation. S45VN is valued in high-end knives for its strong balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The blade includes a notched thumbrest for indexing and control, while the flipper tab provides quick, clean deployment.

Les George Tactical Design and Military Influence

Les George is an American custom knifemaker and designer known for high-performance tactical knives shaped by more than a decade of service in the United States Marine Corps. His experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, embassy guard, and Senior Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician influenced his preference for durable, practical tools that can hold up under demanding conditions.

George began making knives in 1992 and transitioned to full-time knifemaking after his military service. His work is known for overbuilt construction, field-informed ergonomics, clean machining, and tactical utility. This ESV reflects that philosophy in a smaller format: compact, rugged, smooth, and visually distinct.
