Kunpeng Slider

Product Description – SAS Studio Kunpeng Slider

The SAS Studio Kunpeng is a mechanical EDC slider inspired by the Kunpeng, a legendary creature in ancient Chinese mythology. Combining traditional oriental motifs with intricate mechanical detailing, it features a distinctive design built around decorative inlays and an exposed gear mechanism.

The top cover features a gold-plated finish shaped like the outstretched wings of the Kunpeng, complemented by natural mother-of-pearl inlay that reflects shifting iridescent colors under different lighting. A central transparent window reveals the internal gear structure, adding a mechanical element to the layered exterior design.

The metal body features a multi-stage polished electroplated finish, creating a smooth surface with a refined sheen. The bottom is decorated with carved cloud patterns that reference traditional Chinese artistic motifs and the Kunpeng’s mythological origins.

During operation, the internal gear mechanism produces crisp mechanical clicks with each sliding movement. The combination of tactile feedback, visible mechanical components, and iridescent surface details creates an interactive fidget experience that brings together traditional Chinese-inspired design and mechanical craftsmanship.
