The Hybrid Jacket is an insulation layer built for high-output movement where excess weight and trapped heat become liabilities. By combining two of Polartec’s most proven technologies, it delivers insulation where you need it and unrestricted airflow where you don’t.
At the front body, a layered system of ultralight nylon, Polartec® Alpha® insulation, and breathable mesh creates a highly efficient thermal core. This zone protects the areas most exposed to wind and heat loss — chest, stomach, and front of neck — while remaining exceptionally air permeable.
The rest of the system is driven by Polartec® Power Grid®, used across the back, arms, and rear collar. This engineered grid structure actively wicks moisture, accelerates dry time, and prevents heat buildup during sustained output. The result is a midlayer that stabilizes your temperature instead of fighting it.
Designed for speed-focused environments, Hybrid reduces the need for constant layering adjustments. Pair it with a merino base and a shell like the Halo to create a streamlined system that adapts from movement to exposure without interruption.
Storage is intentional and field-driven. Dual zippered hand pockets secure essentials, while a rear hunter’s pocket provides rapid-access stowage for a shell or gloves — keeping your system consolidated without adding bulk.
