The GM14 represents a highlight of the GM design Line. While every GM knife has a number, this iteration earned an internal nickname, Valletta. It is a name that signifies enduring strength, artistic precision, and epic history.

Inspired by the Fortress and the Free Spirit

Rising from the blue waters of the Mediterranean, Valletta was founded in 1566 after one of history's greatest sieges. Its limestone bastions were shaped to endure cannon fire, storms, and time itself. It is a fortress standing as a testament to human resilience and ultimate achievement. Yet behind its walls, Valletta has always held an artist's heart: a place where stone meets sunlight and history meets imagination.

It is no coincidence that this city gave birth to Corto Maltese, the legendary sailor and adventurer of Hugo Pratt's stories. Corto's world is one of independence, curiosity, and quiet rebellion. His tales have long inspired GiantMouse designer Jesper Voxnaes, whose knives carry that same blend of strength and romantic adventure.
