G10 is a composite that is bound by epoxy to bind layers of fiberglass together. The epoxy may wick moisture which may make the G10 turn grey, losing sheen overtime. Due to the nature of the material, this is normal.  To restore the luster, clean it with alcohol, and finish it off with mineral oil, lotion or WD-40. This will revive the G10’s sheen and it will look like new again.
