Built on the award-winning FAST Pack Scout platform, the FAST Pack Scout MK2 refines our most agile FAST Pack around a simple objective: increase capability without sacrificing the speed, efficiency, and low-profile character that define the Scout.
Combining the rugged construction and modular adaptability of our FAST platform with the streamlined proportions of a minimalist summit pack, the Scout MK2 is designed for fast-moving pursuits, technical excursions, travel, and everyday carry where efficiency matters more than excess.
A redesigned profile increases usable capacity while preserving the Scout's compact footprint. The front of the pack has been reworked around a deeper gusseted pocket, creating greater dimensional storage for frequently accessed equipment while incorporating a redesigned admin panel for smaller essentials.
The main compartment retains its full-clamshell opening for unrestricted access and deliberate organization. Internal hanger points support compatible organizational accessories, while an integrated hydration sleeve maintains utility for movement over distance.
Outside, the Scout MK2 retains compatibility with our FAST Transporter Tail system for modular expansion when additional equipment, compression, or a PALS-compatible mounting surface is required. New adjustable bottom straps add another adaptable carry point for layers, equipment, and other gear best secured externally.
The suspension has been refined with slimmer shoulder straps that reduce unnecessary bulk while preserving the engineered geometry, load lifters, ventilation, and high-riding fit of the FAST platform. Redundant internal and external pocketing from the previous Scout has been eliminated, reducing weight and simplifying the pack around the storage that matters most.
