EDCELL Tape Drive slider

New Zirc version is now available. This update brings not only new materials but also structural upgrades.

The front features simpler and smoother lines. On the back, EDCELL added Micarta patch with a glue-free magnetic structure, secured by the central zirc magnetic logo patch. This change increases overall thickness for a better grip, and also allows for replaceable patches in the future.

Internal parts are upgraded from Teflon to PEEK material.

The necklace connector is upgraded from titanium alloy to zirconium alloy.

The two internal tape wheels are color-treated. A gradual color shift can be seen when sliding slowly, while the rotating visual effect stands out more when sliding quickly.

All three classic functions are retained. Thanks to the exterior and interior redesign, it delivers a totally different feel compared with previous versions.

Tape Drive is a mechanical & magnetic linkage slider. It's also a pendant.

32 segments high and low frequency dual-track straight push.

It adopts a precise double-track mechanical design. There are a total of 32 segments in both directions, providing clear segment feedback. When pushed to the middle position, there is also a tactile feedback for reset confirmation. Asymmetrical tracks of high and low tones, which can trigger two different sound effects simultaneously: a deep and mellow sound & a clear and melodious sound.

Eccentric wheel + magnetic system, a wonderful duet of vision and touch.

It features a built-in and original eccentric wheel tape reel structure, paired with a double-row magnet system that attracts and repels each other. During the pushing process, it not only generates a stable and comfortable sense of vibration but also brings an irregular rotation effect. Through the open upper window, you can clearly see every detail of the tape reels' rotation and vibration.

Quick-release pendant design, wear the retro mechanical aesthetics on your body.
