The Chaves Knives × Brad Blount Arrestor 229 brings Brad Blount’s design influence into the Chaves Collaboration Series, pairing his ergonomic approach with the substantial construction and unmistakable styling Chaves is known for.

At the center of the Arrestor 229 is an integral titanium handle, machined from a single solid piece of titanium rather than assembled from separate scales and a backspacer. The result is a clean, seamless chassis with excellent rigidity and a notably solid feel in hand.

The knife is built around a Böhler M390 sheepsfoot blade, offering strong edge retention and wear resistance. Deployment is handled through either the flipper tab or dual thumb studs, with the blade riding on a ceramic ball-bearing pivot for smooth, responsive action.

Lockup comes from a titanium frame lock with a hardened steel lockbar insert, helping reduce long-term wear at the lock interface while maintaining consistent engagement.
