For Pilot watch enthusiasts, Laco watches really need no introduction. Founded in 1925, they were one of the original manufacturers of German Flieger watches. Still based in Pforzheim, Germany, Laco is known for their exacting quality, exceptional finishing, and attention to design detail.

The Augsburg 42 is Laco's modern, well-priced update to the classic Flieger design. Featuring a "Type A" dial with bold numerals about a clean dial, it's all about high legibility no matter the circumstance. Large Roman sword hands make reading the time at a glance an easy task as well. As per the name, this version features a 42mm case, rendered in beautifully finished brushed and matte steel, giving the watch a lot of presence on the wrist.

Powering the Augsburg is the Miyota 82S0 automatic movement. This Japanese caliber is well regarded for its reliability and rugged construction. The 82S0 features 21-jewels, 42 hr power reserve, a frequency of 21,600 beats per hour and no ghost date position.
