AD20 XXX 3V Clip Point

The Biggest Knife in the Demko Lineup

For those who have been around the Demko brand, you know that the AD20 line has been the flagship for the MG (machine ground) family of knives. Well, if the AD20 is the flagship, the AD20 XXX is a true battleship. This model features 1/4" blade stock thickness (6.3mm) and weighs in at a hefty 10.5 ounces (300g).

Performance

The AD20 XXX is not simply a study in how large one can make a knife but, rather, how one can make a large knife well. This isn't simply an enlarged AD20. Demko designed this model paying special attention to grind geometries and performance metrics to allow the thick blade to excel at slicing tasks. Not all large knives can cut, but the AD20 XXX does it with ease. The weighty blade also adds a lot of reinforcing strength to the thin edge, easily pushing the blade through difficult materials.

Purpose

If you're looking for a hefty end-of-the-world knife that will withstand any task you throw at it, the AD20 XXX is your choice. While it won't disappear in your pocket, it will stand out as a centerpiece of your knife collection. It can safely handle the toughest tasks you'd ever need a folder for. Check out Demko's fixed blades if you need further heavy-duty options.
