The American-made AD10 platform has achieved "timeless" status within the knife community. The AD10 was originally designed and produced by Andrew Demko as a custom knife exclusively. The model was so successful that Andrew allowed additional production through partnerships with other knife companies, making AD10 variants more accessible through diversified production strategies.

RHINOLOCK®

The RHINOLOCK® is the newest evolution of Demko-designed lockback locking mechanisms. It may look and act like the traditional lockback mechanism from your grandpa's fishing knife, but the RHINOLOCK® locks the blade open using an entirely different engineering strategy. While traditional lockback mechanisms rely on the blade being held open under tension against the lock face, the RHINOLOCK® design introduces an immovable stop pin between the lock and the blade, creating a much stronger knife that remains unyielding, even with years of wear and tear. Andrew Demko has a long history of designing, testing, abusing, and redesigning his own lockback mechanisms. All of his experience and passion has culminated in the creation of his best lockback yet - the RHINOLOCK®.
