ACE Grand - Green Canvas

The ACE Grand carries forward the legacy of the GM5, bringing the same spirit of adventure and craftsmanship into a knife built for everyday carry. Where the GM5 was envisioned as the ultimate GiantMouse folder, the Grand refines that ambition into a companion ready for real-world use.

We took what made the GM5 so well-loved—the balance of bold design, premium materials, and confident ergonomics—and reshaped it with subtle yet meaningful changes. The rounded scales are crafted from American-made green canvas Micarta, paired with nested liners and a solid liner lock that feels secure and natural in hand. The titanium backspacer remains, giving the knife its signature backbone, while a deep-carry wire clip allows it to disappear comfortably in the pocket.

At the heart of the Grand is an Elmax blade built for versatility. Its high saber flat grind delivers both strength and slicing precision, while the pronounced swedge lends a fine, capable tip that doesn’t compromise durability. Whether you’re in the workshop, the woods, or somewhere between, the Grand performs with quiet confidence.

Its name comes from one of our favorite stops along our travels—the Grand Hotel Nuremberg. Each year that we attend the IWA Outdoor Classics show, the GiantMouse crew finds its way to the Atelier Bar inside the Grand. It’s a place that holds stories, laughter, and the kind of camaraderie that inspired this knife.
