About Knife Standards RR Standard (+) Silver+Gold Folding Knife – 4" MagnaCut Clip Point Blade, Titanium Frame, Carbon Fiber Inlays, Ceramic Bearings

The Knife Standards RR Standard (+) Silver+Gold is the upgraded evolution of the original RR Standard—the design that started it all. Dedicated to the maker’s father, this limited-production folder bridges collectible craftsmanship with hard-use functionality.

At its core is a 4" CPM MagnaCut blade with a compound hollow grind and belt satin finish, hardened to 63–64 HRC for elite edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Thin behind the edge yet reinforced for strength, the clip point blade balances slicing precision with durability.

The frame is built from 6AL-4V titanium, chamfered for comfort and milled internally for weight reduction. Fat Carbon fiber inlays and the signature Knife Standards milling pattern enhance both grip and aesthetics. Action is powered by ceramic bearings and a ceramic detent, providing glassy-smooth deployment via dual thumb studs.

Every detail is refined: custom square pivot hardware with RR initials, all T8 screws, and a reversible milled titanium pocket clip (with optional wire clip) for versatile carry. Each knife is individually numbered, underscoring its limited run.

The RR Standard (+) Silver+Gold represents the culmination of years of design, refinement, and dedication—an EDC that is as much a collector’s piece as it is a high-performance cutting tool.
